About SJBL

Our Purpose & Goal

Smyrna Junior Basketball League is a non-profit organization founded for the purpose of providing a healthy recreational program for young boys and girls interested in basketball. We teach fundamental basketball skills and techniques while providing fun, enjoyment and game competition with responsible adult leadership. Good sportsmanship is emphasized under all conditions. We strive to build minds and bodies through good, clean, sportsmanlike play and vigorous exercise. We teach boys and girls the importance of teamwork and encourage all participants to complete what they start.

Constitution & By-Laws

Smyrna Junior Basketball League is governed by a volunteer board of directors who have over time developed a constitution and set of by-laws, specifically designed to promote the purpose and goals of this organization. We strongly encourage all parents, coaches, and participants to read the constitution and by-laws.
